If you're feeling tired, let yourself give a reward to do the things that you want.Be with me on today's adventure here in the Tawsan mangrove forest in Danao City with my friends. So today we decided to go to some special and peaceful place, and then we decided to come here to the TAWSAN mangrove forest. This is very far away from our home because we live in Liloan and this is in Danao, but we really want to go here.
When we enter this place, all we can see is wow because it's very clean, and the staff, the tour guide, is very approachable. All of them there are very approachable; that's the one thing I really want because when the staff is approachable, this can make someone comfortable being with that place. This place didn't have an entrance; all we can do is give the tour guide any amount that we want. And what's best is that they secured the tourists' safety. And also, this place you have to book first before you go to that place to make sure that you have a kayak. To make sure that there are available kayaks.
When we are inside the house where the owners entertained us, we see that the sea is very nice, even though it's also a sunny day. When we see the sea, we are all very excited to start kayaking. There are many staff who entertain us by asking some questions and sharing some stories about the Tawsan mangroves forest. When we decided to start kayaking, we approached the secretary to list our names because we wanted to start. So when our names were already listed, there was a tour guide who came to us and introduced herself as the one who would tour us in the sea.
The 2 staff come to us and then put the safety things first on our bodies. They really make sure our safety comes first. They put this on our body to make sure that it is tight. They really make sure that our head is safe also.
This is my partner in one kayak, and we really think we know how to use it HAHAHHAA because this is just a first time for us here.
So in this time we start kayaking, and it's very fun because we don't know how to do it. Yeahhh, seriously, you read that right, but because we want to experience this thing, that's why we do it. It's very nice, really nice. While doing it, we stop to take some photos for remembrance in this place. Our friends are very far away from us because they don't take any photos while kayaking. That's why the tour guide calls us because we are far away from them. There's one time that we stop for a while, and then there's someone looking at us who looks so worried when we ask why they think we know how to kayak, but at this time we just stop to take some photos HAHAHAHA. even it's very hot
This time we are with our friends, so some of our friends told us that we wanted to take pictures, and then, yeah, that's the picture. The place is very good. The place is giving. The mangroves here are good, and the tour guide was very approachable. I really enjoyed this adventure today because we experienced this for the first time. Even on a very sunny day, we can still feel the fresh air. And when doing this, we can see around a mountain that the one thing I want is because I really love nature. Nature is my life, yeahhh, not kidding. When I'm sad, nature will make me happy, so back to the story. The tour guide told us that we can do raising because we are 6, so we used 3 kayaks. Then, yeah, before we do the raising, we decided to do a favor for our tour guide and take us a picture, so this is it.
After taking some photos, we started doing the raising. We didn't win HAHAHAHH because I don't know how to do it; my partner only knows HAHAH. But still, it was really good and fun, very fun, full of laughter and shouting. The day is very giving to be with these people who have the same vibes as us, even though we are the only 2 girls in this circle of friends. They treat us fairly, the one thing I want from them.

HOW TO GET THERE?
The Tawsan Mangrove Forest Ecopark is located in Barangay Guinsay, Danao City, Cebu, Philippines. This 74-hectare ecological sanctuary opened to the public on August 28, 2024, and offers activities such as kayaking and guided boat tours through its mangrove trails.
Operating Hours:
Open daily from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Fees:
Entrance Fee: ₱25
Ecological Fee: ₱15 (Danao City residents are exempt)
Kayak Rental: ₱150–₱200 per person, depending on the size of the boat.

Pre-booking is required to manage visitor capacity.
