Muchos saben que trabajo en un supermercado chino, y que por comodidad suelo hacer la mayoría de mis compras ahí, pues también obtengo tickets para canjear por mercadería a fin de mes, pero hoy sucedió algo que hizo que todo cambiara.
Hace mucho frío hoy, ya que luego de la tormenta que estuvo por 48 horas en la ciudad, la temperatura ha bajado tanto como si el invierno ya estuviera instalado, aunque estamos todavía en la mitad del otoño.
Así que a mitad de tarde, se me antojó prepararme una taza de café con leche, y fue en ese momento que me percaté que no había comprado leche antes de salir del trabajo. Tenía dos opciones: caminar las 7 cuadras a mi sitio de trabajo o cruzar la avenida e ir a otro supermercado que está justo frente a mi casa.
Ustedes qué creen que hice? La fórmula mucho frío + antojo de café con leche / menos caminata, me llevó a cruzar la avenida e ir al Supermercado Hiang, al cual no había entrado... nunca! a pesar de tenerlo tan cerca.
Este es mucho más grande que donde yo trabajo, y al entrar tuve que observar bien para ubicar las heladeras para ir por la leche. Ya estando ahí, aproveché de comparar precios y ver qué productos habían que no se venden en el otro.
Encontré unos vasitos de yogurt de durazno de la marca Milkaut a muy buen precio y aproveché de llevarme uno, además del sachet de leche.
Ya con la misión cumplida, di un rápido recorrido por los pasillos, para seguir comparando los precios, y la verdad es que en las demás cosas, prefiero seguir comprando en el de mi supervisora.
Pero como el que revisa bien, siempre encuentra cosas agradables, encontré leche en polvo (de una marca random) a muy buen precio, inclusive más económica que la líquida, y compré una para probarla. De ser de buena calidad, iré por más en los próximos días, pues la oferta es hasta terminarse el stock.
Ya al fondo del establecimiento, estaba la zona de utensilios de cocina, en la cual vi varias cositas que quiero comprar, como la olla pequeña para el arroz o hacer las chocolatadas calientes, pues se viene la temporada de bebidas de este tipo que ayuden con el frío.
Además de otros utensilios que quiero y necesito, y que realmente no había buscado cuando salgo hacia el centro de la ciudad, por lo que encontrarlos aquí mismo ha resultado excelente para mi.
Así que valió el tiempo y los "cuernos" que le monté a mis supervisores, yendo a otro supermercado de uno de sus paisanos.
