La semana pasada fue mi cumpleaños número 24, concretamente el jueves 15 de mayo. Ese día les compartí un pequeño post por acá en mi blog, comentándoles justamente este suceso histórico. La verdad es que ese mismo día hice algo bastante pequeño en mi casa, simplemente algunos snacks, poquitas bebidas y la torta de cumpleaños, con pocos de mis amigos, dirían los más cercanos, pero la verdad que incluso mis amigos más cercanos me faltaron, pero era un poco complicado así que no vino mucha gente, pero sí los necesarios.
Last week was my 24th birthday, specifically on Thursday, May 15th.That day I shared with you a little post here on my blog, telling you about this historic event.
The truth is that that same day I did something quite small at my house, just some snacks, a few drinks and the birthday cake, with a few of my closest friends, but the truth is that even my closest friends missed me, but it was a bit complicated so not many people came, but the necessary ones did.
Aun así, yo pensaba hacer varias cosas, varios planes justamente esta semana pasada y uno de ellos era salir el sábado a mi discoteca de confianza. La verdad es que yo estaba de ir a bastante dudosa de ir a 11:11, ya que últimamente había ido y no habían estado buenas las fiestas. Aun así decidí darle el beneficio de la duda, literalmente, y como justamente hicieron unas promociones válidas hasta las 12 de la noche, pues nos organizamos y decidimos ir. Debo decir que fueron las mejores fiestas a las que he ido en muchísimo tiempo, ese local estaba demasiado lleno de gente, las músicas estaban bastante buenas, supero mis expectativas, ya que últimamente habían estado muy malas, la mayoría de nosotros nos organizamos para comprar unos 2 de cervezas y un servicio de vodka Gordons, que es una de nuestra bebida favoritas y la pasamos increíble.
Even so, I was planning to do several things, several plans just this past week and one of them was to go out on Saturday to my favorite discotheque. The truth is that I was quite hesitant to go to 11:11, since I had been there lately and the parties had not been good. Even so I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt, literally, and as they just did some promotions valid until 12 at night, so we organized and decided to go. I must say that they were the best parties I have been to in a long time, that place was too crowded, the music was pretty good, it exceeded my expectations, since lately they had been very bad, most of us organized ourselves to buy about 2 beers and a Gordons vodka service, which is one of our favorite drinks and we had an incredible time.
La pasamos tan bien que yo llegue a mi casa a las 6:30 de la mañana, y eso que yo estaba en la discoteca antes de las 12 de la noche, fueron demasiadas horas de rumba y yo sentí eso como una fiesta infinita, pero nunca me aburrí y tampoco me cansé, solo al final, de estar tanto tiempo parada y estar en sandalias, ya que yo soy una persona que casi siempre está en zapatos. No me arrepiento de haber escogido 11:11 como el lugar para celebrar mi cumpleaños, yo siempre he dicho que esa es como mi otra casa y aunque también considero a De la Costa como mi otra casa, esa discoteca cierra hasta temprano y aunque tiene mejor ambiente musical, siento que no lo hubiese pasado tan increíble como este sábado en 11:11. Creo que fue una de las mejores formas de celebrar mi cumpleaños y ojalá hubiesen estado mis otros amigos, pero no me quejo de las personas con las que lo estuve compartiendo, que es lo más importante de todo. We had such a good time that I got home at 6:30 in the morning, and I was at the disco before 12 at night, it was too many hours of partying and I felt like it was an endless party, but I never got bored and I never got tired, just at the end, of being so long standing and being in sandals, since I am a person who is almost always in shoes. I don't regret choosing 11:11 as the place to celebrate my birthday, I've always said that it's like my other home and although I also consider De la Costa as my other home, that club closes early and although it has a better musical atmosphere, I feel I wouldn't have had such an amazing time as this Saturday at 11:11. I think it was one of the best ways to celebrate my birthday and I wish my other friends had been there, but I'm not complaining about the people I was sharing it with, which is the most important of all.
