Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This will be Week 166, Edition 01 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week, which is “FOR A CURE”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “BACK TO LIFE”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the one thing that they could bring back into existence if they had the power to do so. It could be a human being who had passed on, an animal that was extinct, or even a way of life that is no longer practiced. Anything at all.
We got to see the different ideas that members had. Going back in history, when things were much better and easier, trying to imagine a world with such elements. We got to see how such additions would affect us, and also how much better humanity might get from them. It was an enlightening topic, indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w165e3 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors, will be listed below.
GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN: IS A REVIVAL POSSIBLE? by @merit.ahama
This author told us that the one way of life she would love to bring back is the one where young children sat around under the moonlight to listen to beautiful stories. And also a period where parenting was a bit easier and child discipline was a thing. She believes that a revival is possible, but the technology of today might only end up making things worse.
BE CAREFUL ABOUT BRINGING ANIMALS FROM THE DEAD by @gwajnberg
For this author, he told us that bringing back extinct animals might not work out well in the long run for humanity. The ecosystem has changed so much since such animals existed, and suddenly thrusting them into this current system might destabilize it in a way that humanity might never recover from.

For this author, she would love to bring her grandmother back to life. The one person who was her pillar and stronghold, and whose passing still hurts to this day. And for the lifestyle she would love to bring back, it was the freedom and innocence that children in the old days enjoyed. She has the perfect idea of the world that she would bring back, and it’s beautiful.
