The THORChain app layer goes live on May 22nd. In my opinion, this represents a 0 to 1 moment for the THORChain ecosystem. Up until now, the vast majority of economic value on THORChain has come from cross-chain swapping.
I invested in ETH way back in the early days - post-ICO - and I remember when smart contracts and tokens became a thing. When token contracts started launching, teams and devs came out of the woodwork to build tokens and projects on Ethereum.
I believe were on the verge of this happening in the THORChain ecosystem. Smart Contracts are about to be released on TC for the first time ever. This represents an entirely new economy that will be built with THORChain as the base layer.
The THORChain ecosystem is about to explode with activity. New developers, new tokens, new projects. Use cases that we've never dreamed of.
