Espero que se encuentren bien y felices. Como saben, tengo un emprendimiento llamado Poética donde dicto talleres de arte y lettering. Hace unas semanas realicé un taller de lettering para lapbooks para niños y adultos. Los lapbooks son una especie de libros interactivos que son perfectos para exponer todo tipo de información. Algo que me encanta es que les puedes poner figuras desplegables para poner la información de una forma más interactiva.
Primero tuvimos una sesión de práctica de lettering para que supieran decorar sus títulos de forma muy creativa. Para la segunda sesión, como era un grupo pequeño, cada participante tenía un sobre con un tema diferente y a partir de ahí desarrollarian su lapbook usando los diferentes moldes de desplegables y eligiendo cada una la paleta de colores de las diferentes cartulinas con las que trabajarian.
Fue un proceso divertido, algo desordenado pero sin duda lleno de creatividad. Cada participante lo dio todo con su proyecto y los lapbooks quedaron geniales, aunque no logramos terminarlos completamente. Todas se divirtieron y aprendieron una nueva manualidad que les sirve tanto para sus clases como trabajos.

I hope you are well and happy. As you know, I have a project called Poética where I teach art and lettering workshops. A few weeks ago I did a lettering workshop for lapbooks for children and adults. Lapbooks are kind of interactive books that are perfect for displaying all kinds of information. One thing I love is that you can put fold-out figures in them to put the information in a more interactive way.
First we had a practice session on lettering so they knew how to decorate their titles in a very creative way. For the second session, as it was a small group, each participant had an envelope with a different theme and from there they would develop their lapbook using the different foldout molds and each one choosing the color palette of the different cardstock they would work with.
It was a fun process, a bit messy but certainly full of creativity. Each participant gave their all with their project and the lapbooks turned out great, although we didn't manage to finish them completely. They all had fun and learned a new craft that they can use for their classes and jobs.
