Ahora bien, quiero contarles que ayer domingo 18 de mayo se celebraron las elecciones presidenciales en Polonia o la primera vuelta de las elecciones, donde hay o habían 13 candidatos participando y aunque aún no están los resultados oficiales, las encuestas preliminares ya anuncian a los 2 candidatos con la mayoría de votos que pasan a la segunda vuelta, ya que ninguno de los 13 participantes obtuvo más de la mitad de los votos. La segunda vuelta se celebrará en dos semanas, es decir, el 1 de junio de 2025.
Como siempre decidí acompañar a mi esposo a ejercer su derecho al voto, algo que me encanta hacer pues es un proceso realmente rápido, Olivia también nos acompañó, y mientras mi esposo mostraba su cédula al miembro de mesa electoral que tenía el nombre de nuestra calle para que le diera la hoja sellada con los nombres de los candidatos, yo me dispuse a hacer un par de fotos para luego acompañar a mi esposo a una de las mesas de votación donde había una hoja con las instrucciones para votar y que realmente es algo fácil de hacer, mi esposo eligió su candidato, más tarde introdujo la hoja en la gran urna electoral y listo, a esperar los resultados. I can't vote yet, but of course I hope to accompany my husband to vote in the second round and hopefully in the future I can vote too, meanwhile I wish the best president for this country that I love and that is now my home.
