La primera semana en mi nuevo local había culminado y estaba deseosa por hacer una actividad para hacer una pequeña celebración por este nuevo comienzo. Es entonces cuando se me ocurrió hacer un taller gratuito al cual todos los que quisieran pudieran asistir.
A este taller le quería colocar un nombre, y es entonces cuando luego de mucho pensar se me ocurre el de "Unidos por el Arte", un nombre que sin duda será usado más de una vez.
Como los horarios en este momento aún no estaban definidos por días, pues estaba haciendo pruebas para ver cual sería el día ideal para cada una de las clases, decidí hacerlo un día martes por la tarde.
Sería la segunda semana de clases, así que armé el flyer promocional y sin darle mucha promoción lo coloqué en el perfil. Inmediatamente comenzaron a aparecer interesados y en cuestión de horas tenía todos los cupos disponibles ocupados.
The first week in my new location had come to an end, and I was eager to do something to celebrate this new beginning. That's when I thought of holding a free workshop that anyone who wanted could attend.
I wanted to give this workshop a name, and after much thought, I came up with "United by Art," a name that will undoubtedly be used more than once.
Since the schedules weren't yet defined by day, I was testing out the ideal day for each class, so I decided to hold it on a Tuesday afternoon.
It would be the second week of classes, so I created the promotional flyer and, without much promotion, posted it on my profile. Interested parties immediately began to appear, and within hours, all the available spots were filled.

The day of the workshop finally arrived. I was a little tired because I'd been finishing the pictures the night before for the participants' drawings and had gone to bed super late.
Even so, I found some energy from somewhere (I have a special reserve for these events, haha), got everything ready, and headed out to the venue with my son.
As I always say, he's my adventure partner, the one I go everywhere with and the one who's always willing to help his mom with anything.
La actividad sería todos tumbados en el suelo pintando. En ese momento no contaba con los banquitos suficientes para que trabajáramos en la mesa, así que decidí improvisar y hacer algo mucho más relajado.
Al llegar al local pegué todo en el suelo a una distancia prudente entre cada uno para que así las personas pudieran sentarse cómodamente sin chocar al que tuvieran al lado.
The activity would involve everyone lying on the floor painting. At the time, I didn't have enough stools for us to work at the table, so I decided to improvise and do something much more relaxing.
When I arrived at the venue, I glued everything to the floor, keeping a safe distance between each person so that everyone could sit comfortably without bumping into the person next to them.
Luego de unos minutos comenzaron a llegar los participantes y cuando ya estuvieron la mayoría, di inicio a la actividad.
Para romper un poco el hielo y que las personas se soltaran un poco decidí hacer una pequeña actividad de dibujo.
Les di 10 minutos para esto, pues se trataba de una actividad introductoria.
After a few minutes, the participants began to arrive, and when most of them had arrived, I began the activity.
To break the ice and get people loose, I decided to do a little drawing activity.
I gave them 10 minutes for this, as it was an introductory activity.
Ese día tuve la presencia de una amiga quien me ayudó a grabar y tomar algunas fotitos mientras yo me ocupaba de dar instrucciones y posteriormente servir pintura.
