Day two in London and time to travel home again. So the plan was to visit the Houses of Parliament and the famous clock tower, which houses the huge bell called Big Ben. We passed the tower just as it chimed for ten o'clock, as you can see in the next shot from a different angle.
Walking out onto Westminster Bridge gave me another photo opportunity. This time, I managed to get the whole of the palace of Westminster in the shot.
It was very pleasant again today in London. Feeling very warm.
Another photo, this time looking in the opposite direction, where the Millennium Wheel is located.
It was soon time to leave, but there was still a ten minute walk along Victoria Street to the train station. We walked past Parliament Square, then stopped for a coffee along the way before getting our tickets for the return journey.
