Wild format in Splinterlands is, as most of us (I think almost all do), is mostly played with bots as the Wild format is one of the toughest to win because of the older edition awesome cards all available to battle and playing with manual battles is not gonna be a easy one.

Yes, I know I might get some replies on this, but this is the truth and there is nothing to hide. As Splinterlands team itself made it officially a bot allowing format, and competing against bots with manual battling is not a viable option, we all agree that, it's the toughest format and like others, I too use bot service to win battles in wild format.

Having said that, Splinterlands team has been generous this week as they waived off the 2K DEC per season we need to pay to play in wild format and we all have the battles free to be fought with bots or without bots.

That is also good news to play with accounts which are not used for playing in wild format because of DEC requirements and this is also an opportunity to use the older cards and play more battles and have more fun.

I am just enjoying playing in Wild format with few manual battles as I am not having good deck yet to play in modern format with Chaos Legion out of modern format now.

Here I share a battle fought in wild format with a combination of old and new cards used and winning this battle gave so much satisfaction to me and here I go with the details of the battle.

Battle and Lineup:

The battle had 45 MANA cap as we can see from above screenshot, and had 3 rule sets in earthquake, enrage(what doesn't kill you) and heavy metal to sum it up.

Let's see the lineup I used for this battle.

Lineup:

1. Giant Alpine Skink:

If there is any more competitor for Diemonshark, it's the Giant Alpine Skink I would say because of it's phase and shield abilities along with the stun ability it possesses.

If used with a tan healer and repair ability monster, this can be a very dangerous customer in the battle!!!

2. Runemancer Kye:

Runemancer Kye is not much used by me because of the level 2 monster only I have, but when there is an opportunity to use it, I won't step back.

This was one such opportunity with enough MANA cost cap and also the ruleset of earthquake as Runemancer Kye can leech life and also being a flying monster, can't lose health due to earthquake rule set.

3. River Hellondale:

This is one of those monsters which is underrated just because we have so many nice monsters in Water splinter, but this monster will prove it's worth in battles like this where, the earthquake ruleset makes monsters lose 2 heath each round, the monsters with resurrect ability will be good to have to get back one of those monsters reinstated.

Besides it's 3 magic attack, it can also inspire to increase the melee attack by 1.

4. Swamp Spitter:

Earthquake battles needs more of repair ability monsters as these can rebuild the armors for a monster in each round and this monster is more awesome with it's 4 ranged attack besides repairing the armors.

What's more!!! this monster can also attack with double power if the monster it is attacking is with more than 10 health!!!

5. Crustacean King:

The tank healer for this battle is the Crustacean King which is one of the oldest monsters I can say as it is from those Alpha Beta edition days in Splinterlands!!!

6. Razorhound:

Razorhound is one of those latest rewards cards currently active with printing and is not much used by me to be frank.

In this battle, it is gonna provide the 3 ranged attack and can strengthen with it's 1 health addition for all the ally monsters.

That lineup is all set for the earthquake battle and these monsters especially the front monster of Giant Alpine Skink can be very dangerous with the abilities these monsters have and opponent's all leveled up monsters didn't have a chance against these fearsome monsters.

Here I share few screenshots from the battle.
