Good evening, everyone. I advise you to read this content to the end.

Today was still àll about marketing and mentorship, and it was a success.

Spendbnd promotional activity has driven me to meet with different people who have different goals in life, both serious and unserious people, It has also helped to build my boldness and courage. I will say that getting to know @favouragina is a different journey entirely, maybe because of the common view about people like him in my locality.

Meeting @favouragina for the first time.

When I first saw this young guy yesterday with physical disability, in my head I was just confused, first I asked myself why he came to see me, maybe hes interested to join Hive, but at the same time I also looked intently at him and I was just wondering how he can handle his phone since his hands are not working.

What led to all this was just what I see around me, the majority of people who have disabilities end up begging in the streets, sometimes it's irritating, but @favouragina is the opposite of what I imagined.

Firstly, I asked him, "Do you have a smartphone?" He replied, "Yes, ma." I was curious to know how he uses the phone, so I asked him, "How do you type on the phone?" He smiled and said "I do type with my hands", I was searching for the hands, but it was nowhere to be found, it wasn't a funny experience at all.

I asked him if he understood that Hive is all about typing and Hive doesn't accept AI or Chat GPT. He said his friend, who referred him, told him, "So, how do you intend to cope?" I asked him, he said he loves challenging himself and that has taken him far in life..
His determination is worth emulating, mentoring him makes me get more emotional, he's very intelligent and easy to teach, I saw the human strength that is more than any physical disability in this young man.

He has a valid reason to depend on others, but he refused and keeps looking for a better life for himself. He wants society to see that physical disability is not an excuse to become lazy; he wants to be among those who strive despite disability.
Onboarding this young guy has pushed me to be more thoughtful and more strategic in life. His perseverance is top-notch. Just a few tips he picked up and made his first post on Hive and did so well.

I am not just mentoring @favouragina, I am learning so many things from Him, just with a little discussion Ihad with him I realized that despite his challenges he sets achievable goals and works towards achieving them, same he didn't restrict himself because of the condition he found himself, he's just pushing and exploring every aspect of life.

Favouragina allows his condition not to discourage him but to empower him and move him to become an advocate of change.
He has a positive mindset and attitude towards everything, and that is why he doesn't limit himself when it comes to trying new things.

Please visit his introduction post and drop some encouraging words for him

Conclusively, I will say that #hive and #spendhbd projects have taken me to places and people that I never could have met in life.
So I will continue searching for newbies, searching for business, and promoting the Hive and SpendHBD project.
