“Building Bonds after Church, Lunch at Restaurant, and Bingo for Fun: Our Family’s Sunday Tradition”

Hello! Hiver’s, I hope all is well. This story I want to share with you all it's about an event that happened two years ago on Father’s Day. It was a memorable moment for me at that time, my mother its because my mom was around at that time, and I still remember it clearly. It was Sunday morning, and we all went to church together. After church, we were all ready for a lunch celebration. We went to a Chinese restaurant inside a hotel. This was our lunch date to celebrate Father’s Day. The food was so good! Everyone ate a lot because we were so hungry. My husband’s parents paid for the lunch. They invited all three of their children, their spouses, and all the grandchildren. It was a big family lunch. My mother was also there with us at that time. I was very happy that she could join us. We ordered dishes, noodles, rice, meat, and vegetables. The children enjoyed the food too. We all talked, laughed, and had a nice time. It felt so good to be together with family.

After lunch, we don't go home to our own home. We all went to my in-laws' house (my husband’s parents’ home). We had some tea together. While we were drinking tea, someone had an idea to play Bingo. Everyone joined in, kids, parents, and grandparents. We all sat together and played the game. We laughing a lot while playing. Sometimes the kids won, sometimes the adults. It was so much fun. I looked around and saw everyone smiling. The house was full of joy. After Bingo, the children went to play with their cousins. They were very happy and full of energy. They ran around the house, played games, and laughed so much. It made me smile to see them enjoying themselves.





After all day, we left to go home. While we are going back home, my husband asked? “What’s for our dinner?” I smiled and told him, “My tummy is still full. I ate too much lunch and tea. I think I just want a small, light dinner.” My daughter Arianne advised the dad to go to the IOI Mall to have dinner, she wants to try a restaurant there. So we went to that restaurant inside the mall and had a light meal. This dinner was our own little Father’s Day celebration for my husband, just our own family. It felt special to have that quiet time together after a busy day with the whole family. And we also ordered a lava cake and sang a Father’s Day song for him. I'm very grateful for my husband, family, and especially for my husband. We are not perfect, but we always take care of our family first, and we don’t mess up every event to celebrate each one of us.



Now that Father’s Day is coming again next month. I know that many wives and children all over the world are planning something nice for their fathers. It doesn’t need to be something big or expensive. Just a good bonding time together, eating a simple meal, playing games, or saying “thank you” can make fathers feel very loved and special. I am very excited to share this moment with all of you. how nice when a celebration, we can look back even years past, we can still remember how it was exactly. That Father’s Day from two years ago. It was a joyful, laughter-filled, and bonding memory. I feel blessed to have such a wonderful family. And I’m very good at remembering memories. I hope we can make more memories like that in the future.
