Different games during the day and at night
In the evening we had another nice meal together and discovered the FS-UAE (Commodore Amiga Emulator). If you don't read here regularly, then perhaps first read My time jump experiment
Before that, I had a walk to the supermarket for some fresh groceries. I had already finished my evening work after dinner and then my son urged me to play on my computer again late at night. I was not enthusiastic. He had previously played many hours of The Settlers on the NDS and so I decided to look for other platforms for that with him. Instead of going to bed within maybe 20 minutes, we spent another two and a half hours together on the PC.
After getting up, I started again with tongue scraping and oil pulling and completed my report from yesterday. I'm currently looking at Ebay and am amazed at how many Amiga parts are available there. And I wonder why anyone buys things like Switch when all the great treasures still exist. Well, I already know why. But I don't find it funny.
We've planned another trip to a library today and are going into the big city. So I'm going to give this a rest and do my Qigong while I'm still oil pulling.
It was soon time for a hot lemon and before we set off on our trip, I made myself a first meal for the journey and took my supplements just before we set off so that I didn't have to take them with me. On the way, I was glad to have something to eat that any earlier would not only have been too early but also too rushed.
We then spent the afternoon in the big city (picture 2). I'm still not sure whether today's excursion was worthwhile. However, we are now more familiar with the big city and will definitely be going back. The library has a makerspace, as we know it from other cities. However, due to the large mix of ages, we tended to use the simple games today, which even some adults who are not experienced players could easily join in with (picture 1).

Unterschiedliche Spiele an Tag und zur Nacht
Am Abend hatten wir wieder ein schönes Essen gemeinsam und entdeckten den FS-UAE (Commodore Amiga Emulator). Liest Du hier nicht regelmäßig, dann lies vielleicht erstmal Mein Zeitsprung-Experiment
Vorher hatte ich noch einen Spaziergang zu einem Supermarkt für ein paar frische Vorräte. Meine abendliche Arbeit hatte ich nach dem Essen vorher auch bereits erledigt und dann drängte mein Sohn spät abends, nochmal etwas an meinem Computer zu spielen. Ich war nicht begeistert. Er hatte vorher viele Stunden Die Siedler am NDS gespielt und so kam ich darauf, danach für andere Plattformen zu schauen. Statt innerhalb vielleicht 20 Minuten ins Bett zu finden, verbrachten wir nochmal rund zweieinhalb Stunden miteinander am PC.
Nach dem Aufstehen startete ich wieder mit Zunge Schaben und Ölziehen und vollendete noch meinen gestrigen Bericht. Grad schaue ich bei Ebay und bin erstaunt, wie viele Amiga-Teile dort zu bekommen sind. Und ich frage mich, warum überhaupt irgendjemand so Sachen wie Switch kauft, wenn all die tollen Schätze auch noch existieren. Naja, ich weiß schon warum. Doch witzig finde ich es nicht.
Für heute haben wir wieder einen Ausflug in eine Bibliothek geplant und fahren in die große Stadt. Ich werde hier nun also mal gut sein lassen und mein Qigong machen, solange ich noch Ölziehe.
Es war dann bald Gelegenheit für eine heiße Zitrone und bevor wir unseren Ausflug starteten, machte ich mir für den Weg noch eine erste Mahlzeit und nahm kurz vor Start die NEMs, um sie nicht mitnehmen zu müssen. Unterwegs war ich dann froh über etwas zu essen, das mir vorher nicht nur zu früh gewesen wäre sondern auch zu gedrängt.
Den Nachmittag verbrachten wir dann in der großen Stadt (Bild 2). Ich bin noch nicht sicher, ob sich der heutige Ausflug gelohnt hatte. Wir kennen nun die große Stadt jedoch wieder besser und werden sicher wieder hin. Die Bibliothek hat einen Makerspace, wie wir ihn aus anderen Städten kennen. Wir nutzten dann aufgrund der großen Altersmischung alledings heute doch eher die einfachen Spiele, bei denen auch einige Erwachsene leicht mitspielen konnten (Bild 1), die nicht die routinierten Spieler sind.
