It was raining on Sunday afternoon. So my wife and I opted to go to coffeeshop near her parents' place for a quick lunch. $6 for her claypot noodle.周日下午下雨了。所以我和太太决定去她父母家附近的咖啡店吃顿快午餐。她点的砂锅面要6元。
My fried mee sua was also $6. Both of us happy enough with the simple lunch.我的炒面线也是6元。我们俩对这顿简单的午餐都很满意。

After spending time with the inlaws, we wento Swensen's at SAFRA Toa Payoh for dinner.和岳父岳母待了一会儿后，我们去了大巴窑战备军人协会的Swensen's餐厅吃晚餐。
It wasn't crowded inside.餐厅里人不多，
However, it was still quite noisy.但还是有点吵。
It was good they still serve plain water.幸好他们还供应白开水。
We had a meal with as a set that included a drink and a soup.我们点了一份套餐，包含一杯饮料和一份汤。
My wife wanted the roast chicken.太太点了烤鸡。
I chose the rendang impossible burger.我点了仁当素食汉堡。
For desserts, we had 5 scoops of their ice cream.甜点我们点了5个冰淇淋球。
The meal came out to be about $57. No complain with the food. Just that things keep becoming more expensive. 这餐话大约57元。食物没什么可抱怨的，只是东西越来越贵了。
